Welcome to pontevedra National High school. A school as a public educational Institution it is committed to a culture of excelence of providing free education. It takes pride in assesting students discover their potentials in values. PNHS as a learning environment,  enables them to create their own destiny in the global community and became responsible citizen, good laeders, and God loving people. PNHS (Pontevedra National High school) also aims to provide comprehensive basic Education, training, and a lifelong skill that is equitably accessible to all, in order to develop students, who are responsible, trustworthy, community-responsive, and God centered.

           Pnhs also offered a Special Science class (SSG) from first to fourth year. The School has 1,789 Student for this year 2011-2012,1,787 chairs,45 tables for the SSC students. They have 29 sections. 9 for the first year,7 for the second year and third year, and 6 for the fourth year.They have 60 Teachers. Their Teachers are competent, although they are not complete in their Facilities and equipment but they complete the needs of their Students. The School Subject  for the Regular class are English, Math, Science ,Filipino ,Aralin Panlipunan     ,Values Eduction, MAPEH, T.L.E,.for the SSG beside w/ the special class subject, the first year and second year has Trigonometry, Public Speaking, Speach development, Statistic and Earth Science, for the Third year are Physics,journalism,analytic and research. The school Student Organization are Supreme Student Government (SSG),Math club ,Science club, English club, Filipino club, Aralin  Panlipunan club, T.L.E club and Values Education club.
